Get paid to go to school and learn the necessary skills of becoming a police officer. This is a trainee-level position, and incumbents are expected to successfully complete the Law Enforcement Recruit Academy and transition to a sworn police officer position.

Base Salary:  $41,267.20 (until academy completion)

 

AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT ACADEMY:

Recruit will receive all benefits associated with the new police officer position including signing bonuses and associated benefits. (see police officer section).
